  • Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a treatment method in which acupuncture, cupping and gua sha are applied to the face to balance muscle tone, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve fluid balance by increasing circulation of blood and lymph. Additionally, acupuncture is applied to the body to address underlying issues that may be contributing to increased signs of aging.

  • Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment method that stimulates your skin’s natural healing process through the application of tiny needles that penetrate to the dermal level of your skin. This creation of tiny microtraumas to your skin promotes production of collagen and elastin resulting in firmer, smoother skin.

    Microneedling can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, minimize hyperpigmentation age spots, repair sun damage, decrease pore size, improve skin texture and elasticity, decrease acne breakouts, and diminish scars.

  • Nano-needling differs from microneedling in that the needle penetration reaches only the surface level of the skin, making it suitable for more sensitive areas of the face, like the lips and eye area, and more appropriate for situations in which microneedling is contraindicated - such as pregnancy and between microneedling sessions.

  • Because microneedling penetrates through the surface of the skin into the dermal layer, there are some circumstances in microneedling is contraindicated. These include:

    • Pregnancy (nano-needling is safe)

    • Active contagious infections such as shingles, cold sores, etc.

    • Wart, open wounds, acne pustules

    • Skin disease flare ups

    • The use of anticoagulant or blood thinning therapy

    • Cancer patients in active treatment or who have undergone radiation therapy of the skin within the past year

    • Keloidal fibroma scars

    • Use of Accutane within the last 3 months

    • Dermal filler or botox treatment within the past 2 weeks

  • LED light therapy uses colored lights of varying wavelengths to penetrate the layers of your skin to stimulate specific responses. The Rainbow LED light that we use offers six color/wavelength options for the following applications:

    Red light: Stimulates collagen production, reduces inflammation, promotes wound healing, improves fine lines. Can be used for inflammation and pain in joints.

    Yellow light: Treats redness, sensitivity, irritation, and rosacea. Reduces the appearance of the tiny blood vessels.

    Green light: Treats and prevents hyper-pigmentation by inhibiting the production of excess melanin.

    Cyan light: Gentle acne treatment, perfect for combination aging skin, controls oil production, and promotes collagen synthesis.

    Blue light: Kills bacteria and reduces over sebaceous gland production.

    Purple light: Combination of red and blue benefits.
