Inflammation also reaches the follicle where your egg spends its final 90 days developing, and it can make your uterine lining less welcoming to an embryo. Moving through the stages in order is a way of ruling things out. Each stage checks one group of factors that can stand between you and pregnancy, so nothing gets missed. With more than two decades of experience in the holistic health field and 13 years practicing acupuncture, Laura helps you restore the foundational conditions your reproductive health depends on. Her work integrates Eastern Medicine, herbal medicine, nutrition, and practical lifestyle strategies to support both natural conception and assisted fertility treatments like IUI and IVF.

What to Expect
Your First Appointment
During this 90-minute appointment, we’ll review your health history and everything you’ve tried so far. We’ll look at what an optimized cycles looks like, where yours is drifting from it, and how that may be affecting your fertility.
You’ll have the chance to ask every question you have and to be fully heard. You’ll also receive your first acupuncture treatment, tailored to where you are in your current cycle and to promote a deep state of relaxation.
You’ll go home with your new patient packet and access to the Fertility Foundations Library. Together they explain how your care works and why it’s sequenced the way it is, show you how to read your cycle, and cover which tests, if any, are worth asking your doctor about, including a semen analysis for your husband.
Following Your Appointment
After your first appointment you’ll receive a series of emails from me reviewing what we discussed during your appointment (so don’t worry about remembering everything that was said!), along with First Steps for both you and your husband to implement, and a walk through the ideas behind your care, one piece at a time.
At your second appointment, we’ll go through your Report of Findings together: your Fertility Type, which stages hold the most influence for you, where we’ll focus first, and toughly how long that may take. You’ll understand your plan well enough to observe your progress even when the wins seem small compared to the ultimate goal (a baby!).
Fertility treatment involves so much more than your weekly appointments, and I strive to be a resource for you, both in clinic and in your every day life.
Ongoing Care
A typical fertility treatment plan includes regular acupuncture, herbal medicine, lifestyle changes, and self-care matched to your stage and Fertility Type.
Three months of consistent care is the biological minimum before you’ll likely see significant change, because that’s how long a follicle takes to develop from recruitment to ovulation. You’re working within the rhythm your body already runs on, so each stage has time to take hold.
For many women, it takes longer, depending on the severity and complexity of what you’re working with, how much each stage holds, and outside triggers like an illness, a family crisis, or a stressful stretch at work. Your Report of Findings gives you a realistic estimate, and we’ll revisit it as your body responds.
